Ticket to...Interlude

As to my busy 'personal life' schedule, today's post is a brief interlude in the Ticket to Disneyland Resort Paris series. Don't worry - I'm not straying too far away from this, and you should keep a hold of your ticket, as you're going to need it tomorrow!

But, as you walk across from Disneyland Park to the Walt Disney Studios, passing underneath Hotel Disneyland (which we'll look at later, when we need a break from the Parks), you notice this beautiful statue:
The statue is one of Mickey's Sorcerer's wand, which stands in dedication to the Make-A-Wish foundation. It's always nice to stop and have a look at the small things that have a larger importance in Disneyland.

The statue, I believe, was unveiled in 1997 as part of the establishing of Disney Legends program in Europe, and is a large replica of the Disney Legends award. I love knowing now that not only does it stand for the history of Disney, but the future of all people. thanks for that fantastic detail Princess!

It looks great against that skyline, even with the dreary grey skies!

Ryan - Thank you for the information! I couldn't find anything about it when I did my initial 'quick' research for the post, but maybe when I have some more time I can look into it further... But thank you for clarifying it! I'm sure there was something to do with Make-A-Wish but that could be my imagination! Oh well, will need a trip over to clarify!

George - Thank you!

Can George and I come on the trip to clarify? Just so that you have witnesses of course!

Oh I think you will need to come on the trip - so I have witnesses and fact checkers!
