Beautif-owl

The details on le Château de la Belle au Bois Dormant in Paris amaze me - there is always something new to look at every time you visit the beautiful castle.

Take, for example, the detailing around the window at the back of the Castle.
This is from the second floor, where the gallery of the story of Sleeping Beauty is situated. Do you notice some familiar friends?
That's right, the detailing around le Château is that of the owls from the feature film Sleeping Beauty. Another nod by the Imagineers to the castles and cathedrals of Europe, which traditionally would have gargoyles or other creatures holding the posts between windows.
