Welcome to Mesa

When you are travelling on the Rivers of America, in Disneyland Paris, you see plenty of the Thunder Mesa mining area, where Big Thunder Mountain sits. We also see the welcome sign, letting us know where we are entering.

Sitting alongside the entrance to the mine itself, this light-tower welcomes us all to Thunder Mesa itself.

And if you look closely, you will see some miners leaving the area, and perhaps a runaway train or two.

If you are ever lucky enough to pay a visit to the Hotel, or to stay in it, always keep your eyes open. You don't know who you might meet!

Time for A Royal Break

DF'82 will be taking a short break for the next week - as there is a Royal Wedding this upcoming week, the Royal Family here at DF'82 thought it would be an ideal time to gatecrash, ahem, I mean, attend a wedding!

Enjoying a Moment...First Thing In The Morning

I adore the sight of the train station at Disneyland Paris - it means that we're there and soon will enter the fantastic Main Street U.S.A.! So, let's enjoy a moment, first thing in the morning, entering the park and ready to pass under the Euro Disneyland Railroad.

Lodging the Details

If you are lucky enough to stay at, or simply visit, the Sequoia Lodge resort at Disneyland Paris, be sure to walk through the grounds.

And if you make your way from the main building to one of the 'outside' buildings, such as Big Sur, be sure to spot for any wildlife spending time in the grounds.
