Taking a few days off from Hotel Hightower - don't worry, I have a feeling we will be back! - we pop back over to Disneyland Paris. Specifically, Disney's Hotel Cheyenne.
This is when we have to Always Look Up - notice the fantastic light fixtures in the lobby area? I have a feeling we're not in Kansas anymore...more like the Wild West!

Hungry As A Horse
If you're visiting Hotel Cheyenne in Disneyland Paris, and have already tied your horse up for the night, there are plenty of benches and areas to sit down and enjoy those pieces of barbequed steak that you are ready to enjoy!
Just another reason why the Disney Resorts are some of the best around, due to their large areas for relaxing and eating!

What About My Horse?
If you are a weary cowboy, or girl, and travelled very far on horseback to visit Disney's Hotel Cheyenne, you may need to find somewhere to let your horse have a good night's rest. And a drink of water, or two, to get back on form for the eventual journey home.
Don't worry, Disney have thought of everything! And here, in the Hotel Cheyenne's courtyard, they have an area you can leave your horses to rest.

Going Around Cheyenne
DF'82 heads back over to Disney's Hotel Cheyenne, in Disneyland Paris, to take some time to have a look around. Again. But this time, we have a map to guide us through the different buildings!
This map, of course, is given to any guest checking into the Hotel Cheyenne. It gives us some information about the hotel itself, as well as directions to our stables!

Water Water Everywhere
Ever wondered how some of the hotels in the Disneyland Paris area get their water supply?
Wonder no more! Here we can see the massive water tower over at Disney's Hotel Cheyenne.
I'm sure it has enough water for the entire population of the resort.

Beware when you are visiting Disney's Hotel Cheyenne in Disneyland Paris. You may end up on the other side of Billy the Kid.
That is you, might stay in Billy The Kid's Boarding House. And if so, well, I would be sure to mind your Ps and Qs and don't make any sudden movements. He's good with his gun!

Details From the West
Even walking through the corridors and the stairwells of Disney's Hotel Cheyenne in Disneyland Paris, you can see the depths of the details placed by the Imagineers. It's more Wild West than the West itself!

In Theatres Everywhere
Moseying around Disney's Hotel Cheyenne in Disneyland Paris, you will notice lots of posters, paintings, and items to make you feel like you are truly in the Wild West.
Take these posters, for example, advertising the film The Long Riders.
The film, starring Randy Quaid, Nicholas Guest, David Carradine and Robert Carradine, was distributed under United Artists in 1980. Although not strictly propaganda from the Western era the hotel is set in, it is still a nice nod towards the Old West style cinematography.

Inside the West
DF'82 has a soft spot for Disney's Hotel Cheyenne in Disneyland Paris. There is so much to see, that it would be easy to stay in the resort and never leave!
Take, for example, the hotel room itself. With so many details and so much theming, you may want to stay there all day!

How Do We Get To The West?
There are many ways to journey to Disney's Hotel Cheyenne.
But, of course, one of the most popular and affulent ways is with the Wells Fargo Stagecoach!

Wells Fargo & Co. Overland StageAn excerpt from this Wikipedia page highlights Wells Fargo's use of Stagecoaches:
From 1855 through 1866, Wells Fargo expanded rapidly, becoming the West's all-purpose business, communications, and transportation agent. Under Barney's direction, the company developed its own stagecoach business, helped start and then took over the Overland Mail Company, and participated in the Pony Express.
Yet another example of the true Disney Detailing that went into every aspect of the Disneyland Paris Resort!

Time To Shop
Let's head back over to the Wild West, and Disney's Hotel Cheyenne. I think we might need to do some shopping at the General Store!
As you can see, the store was established 1856. I wonder if they are equiped for modern-day credit cards?

Who's Who in the Wild West
If we are lucky enough to spend some time in the Wild West, Disneyland Paris Style, we are probably in Hotel Cheyenne's resort area.
And if we are truly living the Old West style, we may have to tend to our horse, or need somewhere to store our hard robbings, ahem, I mean earnings! If so, look no further.
In Disney's Hotel Cheyenne we can visit the Blacksmith and the Bank (which we looked at several weeks ago).
But make sure you have earned all that money honestly, or we may be heading somewhere else...

Saddle Up!
Be careful if you leave your horses untethered when you visit Disney's Hotel Cheyenne. You may just end up with the saddlewear being displayed for all guests to see!

Paintings of Cowboys
If you are lucky enough to visit, or stay, in Disney's Hotel Cheyenne next time you are at Paris, make sure to take some time to look at all the artifacts and details in the reception area.
You might just find some fantastic artwork, created especially for the Hotel.

Down to the Wash House
The great theming continues at Hotel Cheyenne, right down to the long-johns that the guests are wearing. No, not in that way! But in the way that you wash those long-johns.
Yes, the laundry area in the Resort is themed like a Wild West Wash House! Even the area to collect your ice and drinks is themed to perfection. Wash 'em, cowboys!

Read All About It!
Don't forget to pick up your latest copy of the Cheyenne Daily Sun, especially the illustrated edition.
At only 10 cents, it really is a great read.

Stick 'Em Up
The theming at Disney's Hotel Cheyenne in Disneyland Paris is superb. Such as the town's local bank, situated on a busy thoroughfare.

The Details in the Wallpaper
DF'82 has spent a lot of time - and had a lot of fun - over at Disney's Hotel Cheyenne. And when you are lucky enough to stay in a Disney resort, no matter which "world" it may be in, the Disney Details can be overlooked. Especially when you head back to your hotel, anxious for a place to lie your head and to get ready for the next day.
So, details like the wallpaper are very easy to accidentally ignore. But not if you visit with DF'82! Let's have a look at some throughout the rooms and the resort.
And the carpet isn't bad either.

Mail Drop
We spent a great week at Disney's Hotel Cheyenne last week, but there is still more to see if you can believe it! When staying on Disney property, there are plenty of services available to us. For example, we all like to send postcards home to our friends and family to make them jealous of our trip. And Disney cater to this, by having different post boxes scattered in the parks and in the resorts.
They even make these post boxes themed - like in the Hotel Cheyenne. Have a look at this fantastic place to post the mail.
