With the opening of Cars Land in Disney's California Adventure approaching ever closer, it's nice to wander around the Radiator Springs of Walt Disney Studios, Paris, thinking about how it may look in Anaheim.

We can pause at Cars Quatre Roues Rallye and enjoy the spectacular lighting.

But have a closer look, and at night time the attraction clearly takes on the form of Flo's V8 Cafe!

Let's stop by for a fill up.

Buy Your Tyres

Heading through Radiatorville you may find that you are in need of some new tyres.

Look no further than Luigi's Casa Della Tires!

It looks like they are having a Lightyear Tire Sale at the moment, too. It must be part of the post-Christmas January Blues!

And luckily it looks like they might be open after hours as well. Thank goodness!

Body Art And Gas

Don't worry by the title! We're only popping back over to Cars Quatre Roues Rallye in the Walt Disney Studios to have another look at some small pieces of detail.

Such as this, the area where the Piston Cup is being held.

And in the background, if you look carefully, you can see some advertising for Ramone's House of Body Art, along with some pieces of his work.

And if you turn round, you can find some gas!

Great detailing, in one of the newer areas of the Studios.

A Number of Number Plates

In the UK, we call them Number Plates, in the US they call them Licence Plates. I think that Radiator Springs would call them licence plates, too. Whatever you call them, you can see there is a fair collection in Cars Quatre Roues Rallye!

And good to know how we can tell if they are open or not! Although, that could get quite confusing.

Need a Tow?

Following on from yesterday's post in Radiator Springs, today we head over to have a look at a familiar sign in the Springs.

Yes, this is Tow Maters' workshop. As you can see, we're welcome for all Towing and Salvage!

But wait, what's this? Let's take a closer look at those multicoloured barrels.

Looks like Fillmore has been leaving some Fermented Oat Bran, and some other Steroid Free Prickly Gear for us to feast on while we stay.

It's time to head back over to Radiator Springs in Walt Disney Studios. I think we are all in need of a little vacation, so let's take some time to rest just off of the infamous Route 66.

I just never tire of seeing that postcard-ready sign!

Here we can see the beautiful, and welcoming, building of the Quatre Roues Rallye sign, which I bet looks even more impressive at night. Just another way the Imagineers have helped to make the whole area really fit in with the Route 66 era!

Greetings from the Springs

To celebrate the release of Cars 2 in the UK on Friday, we're going to head over to our very own mini-Radiator Springs in Walt Disney Studios in Paris.

We have reached the Gateway to the Ornament Valley.

And even Ramone is getting in on the welcoming, with one of his customised bonnets (or 'hoods', as they are known in Radiator Springs).

And finally, don't forget to pick up some curios to remind you of your time in this fantastic piece of Route 66.

Not Just For Ambulances

Radiator Springs has just the ticket if you need to visit a hospital, or a doctor. Their Medical Centre is ready and waiting for all your oil, engine and gas needs! Do you notice some great Disney Details on their medical symbol?

Chamber of Car-merce

Over in Radiator Springs, Walt Disney Studios, we can see the Radiator Springs Chamber of Commerce wall of fame, of sorts.

Founded in 1909, these are just a couple of the 'Springs most famous citizens.

Sign Me Up

Passing through the queue for Cars Quatre Roues Rallye, the Imagineers have found a plentitude of ways for us guests to pass our time and truly experience visiting Radiator Springs.

For example, look at the signs that surround us when we enter.

Surplus Requirements

Attention, Walt Disney Studios Guests! When you're visiting visiting Cars Quatre Roues Rallye, be sure to stop by Sarge's Surplus.

Perfect for tents, parachutes and 'all your surplus needs'.

Cafe for the Cars

While we're at the Walt Disney Studios, we may find ourself a little peckish. In that case, perhaps we should stop at Flo's Cafe over at Cars Quatre Roues Rallye.

This is the best place to grab some Lug Nuts, Gas, Oil, Coolant or Grease, at pretty reasonable prices. And, as you can see, it's also home to the 'infamous' Free 55-Gallon Dinner*!

*if used within one hour...there's always a catch!

How Far To Go

When you are travelling by car, one of the most exciting things can be seeing how far you have to your destination and watching it get smaller and smaller every few miles.

Once you enter the Cars' attraction in Walt Disney Studios, be sure to be on the lookout for the answer to "Are we almost there yet?" on this great sign:

It appears that Wheelwell is quite close, but we still have ages to go before we get to Cranknshaft. But the best 'pun' of them all - obviously Tailfin Pass. Classic!

A Place To Rest

If you are in Radiator Springs, in the Walt Disney Studios, you might need a place to rest your head for a night or two.

Well, look no further than the Cozy Cone Motel!

Looks like Sally will be there to welcome us for our stay.
