Advertising the Cut

When you reach the hub area of Disneyland Paris, there are several popcorn or snacks stands scattered throughout. And even during the quiet times, when they are not open, you still feel like you are in true Main Street USA.
Just placing the adverts on the shutters allow us to feel like we are on a real street in a real town, advertising the local barber shop!

Where in the Springs?

It we visit Radiator Springs in Walt Disney Studios, it might be easy to lose your way. But don't worry, as when you attend Cars Quatre Roues Rallye there is a map in the queuing area.

So now we know exactly where the Cozy Cone Motel is, and Flo's V8 Cafe for a quick drink!

New Year...in March

We might be three months in to 2011, but let's head back to December 31st 2010, and January 1st 2011, and over to Tokyo Disneyland.
These are the postcards that were released to coincide with the New Year festivities! And, luckily, they can be enjoyed at any time of the year.

A Quick Bite...At Gibson Girl

It's the weekend, so we really should treat ourselves! How about a quick bite at the fantastic Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlour?
Situated at the far end of Main Street U.S.A, in Disneyland Paris, the Gibson Girl is a one-stop-shop for all kinds of delicious ice cream dishes!
The Parlour is open from 11am until Park Closing, and although there are no seats inside the parlour itself, there is plenty of places to sit with your snack outside. There are around 8 different kinds of ice creams, available in a variety of dishes, and plenty of drinks to choose from too.

The Din of Studio One

There are many great references to old movies throught Studio One, of the Walt Disney Studios in Paris.
'Gunga Den' is just one of these! Referring to the classic movie, Gunga Din, starring Cary Grant and Joan Fontaine. Another detail showing how the Imagineers have worked tirelessly to give us Guests something to look at and think about at every turn of our tour!

This Princess is Off!

DF'82 will take a short break, just for a week, as this Princess is off to join thousands of other Princesses (and Princes!) to run in the honorable Princess Half Marathon.
