A Touch of Swiss in Tokyo

DF'82 heads back over to Tokyo Disneyland for the next few days, in order to experience an attraction that may be familiar to us all but is also very different.
It's the Swiss Family Treehouse, situated in Adventureland in Tokyo. As you may know, this walk-through attraction is based on the 1960s' Walt Disney film. It is a great way to see some classic Disney Details and you can also get some beautiful views of the rest of the Tokyo Disneyland Park.

The Treehouse was a late addition to the park, however, not opening until 1993, 10 years after the park opened. As we enter the Treehouse, we are greeted with the following plaque:
On this site July 17, 1805 the
Swiss Family Robinson
composed of myself, my good wife and
three sons, Fritz, Ernst and little Francis...
were the sole survivors by the grace of God
of the ill-fated ship Recovery.

Join us for the next two days, as DF'82 takes you on a picture tour of this fun attraction!
