A Gift From France

The Liberty Arcade on Main Street U.S.A. is a tribute to the wonders of the Statue of Liberty in New York City.As you may or may not know, the Statue was a gift from the people of France to the United States of America, dedicated on October 28, 1886. Designed by the Frenchman Frédéric Bartholdi, the figure is based on the Roman goddess of freedom, Libertas, and is a symbol of the freedom of the United States. You can read more about 'Liberty Enlighting the World' here (Wikipedia).
The Arcade in Paris is a fantastic tribute, full of images and memorabilia of the Statue herself, and to do with the celebrations of 1886, when Liberty became a symbol to all Americans.
