It's time to head back over to Radiator Springs in Walt Disney Studios. I think we are all in need of a little vacation, so let's take some time to rest just off of the infamous Route 66.

I just never tire of seeing that postcard-ready sign!

Here we can see the beautiful, and welcoming, building of the Quatre Roues Rallye sign, which I bet looks even more impressive at night. Just another way the Imagineers have helped to make the whole area really fit in with the Route 66 era!

Get a Detail For Cars

The Cars area of Walt Disney Studios in Paris has some fantastic detailing throughout. It really makes me excited as to what will become of Cars Land in Disney's California Adventure!Anyway, here in Paris we have the fantastic Cars Quatre Roues Rallye, which I have looked at here before. But today I thought it would be fun to go back and have a look at some more details in the queuing area. Specifically the stand with some fantastic bumper stickers from Radiator Springs!
Let's have a look at what you can buy from one of the most famous places off Route 66!Yet again, more fantastic detailing from the Imagineers, and some hidden treasures in the queue area for the Cars attraction. That's all for now, but don't worry, we will be back!

Welcome...To Radiator Springs

Over the recent years Walt Disney Studios has rapidly tried to expand and upgrade its attractions and theming. An often overlooked park, it is turning from a half-day park into a must-see park. Which is great for Disney geeks like ourselves!

One of the most exciting areas for expansion is Toon Studio - added in the last few years has been Crush's Coaster (which we will look at another time) and the small Radiator Springs area, featuring Car's Quatre Roues Rallye - which we discussed previously.

The area is ready for more expansion, but at the moment, let's have a look at what Radiator Springs has for us!

Just looking at these pictures makes me excited for the future Cars Land at Disney's California Adventure!

A Number of Number Plates

In the UK, we call them Number Plates, in the US they call them Licence Plates. I think that Radiator Springs would call them licence plates, too. Whatever you call them, you can see there is a fair collection in Cars Quatre Roues Rallye!

And good to know how we can tell if they are open or not! Although, that could get quite confusing.

Sign Me Up

Passing through the queue for Cars Quatre Roues Rallye, the Imagineers have found a plentitude of ways for us guests to pass our time and truly experience visiting Radiator Springs.

For example, look at the signs that surround us when we enter.

Where in the Walt Disney Studios can you find Lightning McQueen and Tow Mater?

Well, they sit at Cars Quatre Roues Rallye, keeping an eye on all the guests having fun!

Body Art And Gas

Don't worry by the title! We're only popping back over to Cars Quatre Roues Rallye in the Walt Disney Studios to have another look at some small pieces of detail.

Such as this, the area where the Piston Cup is being held.

And in the background, if you look carefully, you can see some advertising for Ramone's House of Body Art, along with some pieces of his work.

And if you turn round, you can find some gas!

Great detailing, in one of the newer areas of the Studios.

Cafe for the Cars

While we're at the Walt Disney Studios, we may find ourself a little peckish. In that case, perhaps we should stop at Flo's Cafe over at Cars Quatre Roues Rallye.

This is the best place to grab some Lug Nuts, Gas, Oil, Coolant or Grease, at pretty reasonable prices. And, as you can see, it's also home to the 'infamous' Free 55-Gallon Dinner*!

*if used within one hour...there's always a catch!

Race Ya!

The new Toon Studio in Walt Disney Studios Park, Paris, has brought along some fantastic attractions for us guests to enjoy. One of these is the Cars Quatre Roues Rallye - or the Cars Race Rally - described as a 'Spinning ride with vehicles interchanging between two turntables'.

This ride opened in 2007, along with Crush's Coaster (which I will talk about another time), increasing the amount of D and E-Ticket attractions within the theme park. My mum and I went on this ride, seeing as it looks like a children's ride, and it was actually a lot of fun! The cars change between the 'tables' and several times you really think you are going to bump into another car. Sometimes it was actually a little hair-raising, but don't tell anyone I said that.

Another good thing is if you head over to get in line for Crush's Coaster as soon as the Park opens, which may only take about 15-20 minutes, you can exit and go straight to the Race Rally and there probably won't be a wait. Especially during the cooler winter months...

Where in the Springs?

It we visit Radiator Springs in Walt Disney Studios, it might be easy to lose your way. But don't worry, as when you attend Cars Quatre Roues Rallye there is a map in the queuing area.

So now we know exactly where the Cozy Cone Motel is, and Flo's V8 Cafe for a quick drink!

No, not in Doc Hudson's garage. But in the queue area of Cars Quatre Roues Rallye, Walt Disney Studios! Don't forget to check this out for yourself, next time you visit.

With the opening of Cars Land in Disney's California Adventure approaching ever closer, it's nice to wander around the Radiator Springs of Walt Disney Studios, Paris, thinking about how it may look in Anaheim.

We can pause at Cars Quatre Roues Rallye and enjoy the spectacular lighting.

But have a closer look, and at night time the attraction clearly takes on the form of Flo's V8 Cafe!

It has been a bit of a newspaper-filled week here at DF'82, so I figure why stop now? Let's head over to the Cars attraction at Walt Disney Studios, and take some time out to look at the newspaper clippings they have in the queue.

Of course, these aren't just any clippings here at Cars Quatre Roues Rallye - they are clippings from Hudson Hornet's heyday!
