Windows Of Strings

We have looked at Au Chalet de la Marionette here at DF'82 before, but like the other restaurants at Disneyland Paris, there is so much to see in and around it that we can never be away for it for too long!

If there is one thing that Disneyland Paris has in abundance is beautiful stained glass windows. Such as those from the Sleeping Beauty story within the Castle. Here in the Marionette restaurant, we are treated to some further beauties.Yet another example as to why we should take the time and appreciate all of the decorations throughout the Paris parks.

The Little Puppets' Room

We have looked at the fantastic toilet signage close to Au Chalet de la Marionette in Disneyland Paris before. But how do you find your way to these bathrooms?

Ah, there we are! Fantastic detailing, yet again.

Figaro's Story

We follow on from the various art of Au Chalet de la Marionette in Fantasyland, to look at some of the murals and paintings featuring the underrated Pinocchio character Figaro!

This is something that everyone can enjoy. And it's nice to see Figaro receiving a bigger part!Say hello to Figaro

I think we are lost, FigaroOh! Pinocchio...finally!

To the table!
Good Night, Figaro!

Using the Little Person's Room

I know there are many Disney fans out there (possibly you - yes you, reading this - no, don't look behind you, etc, etc) who enjoy the finer things of Disney Theme Parks. Litter bins, photo points, floors... But there are also those who enjoy the different theming of bathrooms!

Without going into too much detail, these are some of my favourite bathrooms throughout Disneyland Parc, Paris. Although the inside is somewhat like a regular European bathroom, the signs on the outside remind you that you are not somewhere regular. You are in Fantasyland. And just next to Au Chalet de la Marionette! Can you tell why?

Painting The Walls

We have visited the grand detail of Au Chalet de la Marionette before, from the beautiful stained glass windows to the great carvings between dining areas.

We visit this restaurant in Fantasyland yet again, but this time to have a look at some of the details in several of the dining areas. Today we will look at the mural of Pinocchio's 'Hi Diddle Dee Dee' story to become an actor.
One of the most beautiful things, in my opinion, is the fact that the artwork is in the language of Disneyland Paris's country. Allowing children to really enjoy this classic!

You Buttered Your Bread - Now Sleep In It

Au Chalet de Marionette, a great place to grab a bite to eat in Fantasyland, Paris. Just remember to take some time to look around as you queue up to order your food!

It looks like Pinocchio is also quite hungry for a bite to eat!

I just hope Foulfellow and Gideon don't catch up with him!

Take a Seat

Most of the restaurants in Parc Disneyland, Paris, have some beautiful seating areas outdoors as well as indoors. During the summer, especially, this stops the restaurants getting too overcrowded inside (although the counter service areas can get very busy!).

We head back over to Au Chalet de la Marionette in Fantasyland and have a look at how the theming of the restaurant continues to the outdoor seating area.
We can really feel like we are back in the days of fantasy and the times of Pinocchio himself!

I've Got No Strings

A fantastic counter-service restaurant in the Disneyland Parc, Paris is Au Chalet de la Marionette - a restaurant themed around Pinocchio! A great quick-service restaurant, situated in Fantasyland, close to the entrance to Adventureland, serves the usual Disney Theme Park fare: burgers, chickens and salads. They also serve some fantastic desserts - from what I've heard!
The restaurant has murals on the wall and beautiful wood carvings, depicting the story of Pinocchio and the trials and tribulations he had to go through. As well as the happier parts and ending of the story! Let's have a look around this storytelling restaurant.
